The skiing yesterday was fantastic. The trails maintained excellent coverage, with good to great classic tracks and smooth, fast skate ski conditions. To preserve the adequate-but-thin snow base, we will not be grooming today, but we still expect excellent conditions out there. We’re looking forward to another great day on the snow!

Forecast:

Today: Cloudy skies with afternoon snow showers. High 22F. Winds light and variable. Chance of snow 50%.

Tonight: Cloudy with snow showers mainly during the evening. Low 14F. Winds WSW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of snow 50%.

Tomorrow: Partly cloudy skies in the morning will give way to cloudy skies during the afternoon. A few flurries or snow showers possible. High 17F. Winds W at 10 to 20 mph.

Today’s Stone Turtle Day Lodge Cafe lunch special is the Mediterranean Tuna Panini! Albacore Tuna, kalamata olives, red onion, banana peppers, provolone cheese and house made hummus on a ciabatta bun, served with Great Lakes Chips and a pickle.

The shop will be open from 9:00am to 3:00pm, and closed tomorrow for Christmas day. The trails will be open Christmas day, on the house! Stop in today for a pre-Christmas ski and some great shopping!
