We’re still celebrating holiday week at Shanty Creek! And with 16″ of new snow in past three days and up to 6″ more in the forecast for today, there’s a lot to celebrate at Schuss Mountain. So, come and get the powder while the getting is good!

Today’s weather forecast call for snow showers with accumulations of around 6″. Highs will be around 5 degrees today.

Please Note, we are currently observing holiday rate and hours at Schuss and Summit Mountain today.

SCHUSS MOUNTAIN UPDATE:
Schuss Mountain will be open from 9a-9p today with the magic carpet, Low Rider tow rope, pink purple, yellow and blue chairs available, servicing ALL of its 42 of runs. SCHUSS MOUNTAIN IS 100% OPEN.

SUMMIT MOUNTAIN UPDATE:
Summit Mountain will be opening for the season today at 4p with two runs available on the green chairlift. The magic carpet will also be spinning. Summit Mountain lift tickets will be $20 from 4-10p today.

TUBING PARK UPDATE:
Our Alpine Tubing Park is available today from 10a-10p at Summit Mountain.

TERRAIN PARK UPDATE:
At Schuss Mountain, the Purple Daze terrain park has 15 features available. The Low Rider beginner terrain park located near the Schuss Day Lodge is also available.

NORDIC TRAIL UPDATE:
We have the best skating lanes and track set of the season. The nordic trails are in excellent shape and continue to be groomed daily as the snow falls. Trail passes are currently $10. For the the most up to date trail conditions, please call the Nordic Center at 231.533.3000, x 4300.
