ABR Trails Cross Country Ski Report – 12/27

Wednesday 6 pm

We had a great day of skiing today, cool but no wind and the sun was out!

A very pretty sunny day with perfect corduroy and tracks…just cold. Plenty of tough skiers out there today!

We recently placed the new warm up shack at Jason Park today. This will be a destination for many adventuresome recreational skiers skiing 6K out on the Tamarack 2 Track trail, warming up, and skiing another 6K on Otter Slide and Wolf Tracks, then having lunch at the Jason Park warming shack and skiing the Tamarack 2 track back for another 6K. We will try to keep the wood stove lit but there are supplies to light the stove if it is cold. The small cabin heats up quickly. Just pack out what you bring in and clean up after you leave. There is an out house close by as well.
