XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 01/03

We received another inch of snow overnight last night. Groomer Mike will snow comb all the trails early this morning, and will also be adding snow to the couple of thin spots on the Manitou and Tall Pines trails. Conditions are excellent for skating and classic, especially with a high of 18 degrees today!

Forecast:

Today: Snow showers. High 18F. Winds W at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of snow 50%.

Tonight: Cloudy skies. A few flurries or snow showers possible. Low near -5F. Winds NNW at 10 to 15 mph.

Tomorrow: Partly cloudy skies. A few flurries or snow showers possible. High near 0F. Winds NNW at 10 to 20 mph.

Today’s Stone Turtle Day Lodge Cafe lunch special is Chili and Bosco Sticks! Your choice of classic or veggie chili, plus two hot, cheesy breadsticks for just $5. Of course we also have made-to-order grilled panini sandwiches!

It is much less windy in the woods!

All the best,

-Mariah, Stu, Bob, Lynne, Fran, Matt, Kelsey, Alex, Dodge, Kim, Missy, Annie J., Annie B., Denny, Erin, Mike, Dana, Butch, Brian and the crew
