Vasa Trail Cross Country Ski Report – 01/10
Firm, packed trail from 10 am to 11:30 today. It was average speed at first then started getting a bit grippy by the end. Lots of leaves and sticks on the trail that put the brakes on my skis too if I wasn’t paying attention.
Looks like a warm up over the next 36 hours. As the groomers have said, “use good judgment” if u go out during this warm spell. If you’re leaving ruts when u ski it will freeze into the trail on Friday and there’s no new snow in the forecast to erase it for a while. Still gobs of snow out there at this time
